Pink and Black Cube is a cute little guy. The design came to me in a dream. I had fun making him. One of the black regions is large than the pink region on one side making it a little more interesting.

I've always loved the color contrast between pink and black. This piece is inspired by a square divided into two rectangles, one pink and the other black and nothing more. That is beautiful.

Then I had some of the pink creep into the black and vice a versa a little like yin and yang. I made vertical lines into diagonals, and I clipped off corners - now it's just fun. It's great to hold and just have lying around on the counter. One of the trickiest parts was devising the inside of the piece where they meet with mortice and tendon joints keeping it together.
