This geometric form is also organic like a stream flowing in the wilderness. It has pleasant lines and angles that make it feel like it is moving - wanting to lift itself up.

It is fabricated from repurposed wood I found on the side of the road - 2 x 6-inch boards about 36 inches long. First, I ripped them the long way into approximately ¾” thick boards. Then assembled them like a jigsaw puzzle into the various surfaces of the piece. I made it for a show at Till Forster Farm and knew it would be out in the field, so I painted it sky blue to stand out and to relate to the sky and to relate to water.
